Joiner/ Assembly operative

Orbital Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2x Joiner / Assembly Operatives to join a specialist vehicle manufacturing business in Derbyshire. This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience in joinery, assembly, manufacturing, shop fitting, modular builds, or production environments who are looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing company. Candidates who have worked within structured manufacturing or engineering environments are highly desirable. The business are particularly keen to speak with individuals who have a strong attitude to work, good practical skills, and pride in producing high-quality work. Hours & Benefits * Monday to Friday * 08:00 – 17:00 * Early finish on Fridays * Overtime available * Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate * In-house training provided * Genuine progression opportunities The Role As a Joiner / Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting specialist vehicle components within a busy workshop environment. Duties will include: * Assembly and fitting work on specialist vehicles * Using hand and power tools * Working from drawings and specifications * Supporting fabrication and production teams * Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard * Maintaining a clean and safe workspace What We’re Looking For * Previous experience within joinery, manufacturing, assembly, shop fitting, or production environments * Experience within heavy manufacturing or large production facilities highly beneficial * Confident using hand and power tools * Strong attitude to work and willingness to learn * Reliable and hardworking * Keen to progress long term within the business * Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset If you are interested in this role, please apply with your CV or call us for more information
