Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Time Studies for different operations on the shop floor
  • \n
  • Create Routings for different product types or product families
  • \n
  • Support Operations Planner with releasing Works Orders and ensuring all documentation has been uploaded correctly in MRP / SharePoint.
  • \n
  • Work with Contracts, Quality and Engineering to ensure that the technical documentation is correct and updated when required
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Requirements in all industrial activities
  • \n
  • Continually review and update data input in MRP (logins on jobs, operation confirmations)
  • \n
  • Conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and productivity.
  • \n
  • Monitor process performance and recommend improvements.
  • \n
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
  • \n
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
  • \n

Beneficials Skills / Qualifications:

\n

\n
    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • \n
  • Over 2 years’ experience in process engineering in manufacturing environment
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • \n
  • Experience of working with switchgear / LV / HV products
  • \n
  • Experience with process validation and statistical process control (SPC).
  • \n
  • Excellent I.T. skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • \n
  • Experience working with ERP / MRP systems
  • \n
  • Flexibility to adapt to change
  • \n
  • Good attention to detail
  • \n
  • Ability to work to strict timelines
  • \n
  • Good interpersonal skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • \n

  • Salary negotiable dependant on experience
