We are currently in search of a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to enhance our cancer care team. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical abilities, a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, and an interest in engaging with various clinical trials available within our network. Applicants should hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive and will be based on experience.

The selected candidate will work in a recently updated facility on the hospital campus, which offers cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Our physicians benefit from a supportive, integrated network of healthcare professionals. Collaborate with a skilled team of medical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and additional support personnel. Enjoy a dynamic practice that includes both outpatient and inpatient medical consultations, chemotherapy administration, laboratory visits, and supportive therapy sessions. Patient care is provided in both the clinic and hospital from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities shared among colleagues.

We welcome candidates who require a J-1 visa waiver or H-1B sponsorship following a J-1 waiver to apply.

About the Local Hospital:

This facility is a 118-bed licensed hospital that serves around 3,900 inpatients, over 140,000 outpatients, and nearly 18,000 emergency cases each year. The hospital features a variety of medical/surgical beds, pediatric beds, obstetric/gynecological beds, nursery cribs, an intensive coronary care unit, skilled nursing beds, and a neuropsychiatric service for adults, adolescents, and children with an 18-bed hospital-based unit.

Additional services include medical oncology, a sleep lab, a dialysis center, a cardiac catheterization lab, a pain management program, occupational health, and community education. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care, along with ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary services, orthopedics, inpatient/outpatient substance use services, and hospice care.
