Job Title: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Leicester
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Shift: Night Shift - Monday to Thursday, 8:00 pm - 6:15 am

Our client is a well-established East Midlands engineering business, providing design and manufacturing solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team on a permanent night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Loading and unloading CNC machines
\n
• Operating CNC milling or CNC turning machines
\n
• Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, and micrometres
\n
• Using a handheld grinder to remove burrs and rough edges from metal components
\n
• Pressure testing finished parts
\n
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
\n

The Candidate

\n
• Previous experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Turner.
\n
• Confident using inspection equipment and carrying out quality checks
\n
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
\n
• Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed, with a strong work ethic
\n
