Special Education Teacher | Rural Hall, North Carolina

The position is set to begin around August 5th, with an end date around May 25th, offering a consistent schedule from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience or strong interest working in resource/inclusion settings
• Familiarity with general curriculum adaptations and modifications
• Ability to progress monitor and assess student growth toward IEP goals
• Adept at collaborating with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the case manager for 20-25 students receiving EC services
• Schedule, hold, and write IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide direct instruction and support in reading, math, and behavior as outlined in each IEP
• Monitor progress on IEP goals and maintain thorough student records
• Work in collaboration with another dedicated EC teacher, effectively sharing insights and responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal special education requirements
