Join Our OB Hospitalist Team

We are currently in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible OBGYN to become part of our OB Hospitalist service located in Des Moines, IA. Our organization is dedicated to providing advanced healthcare services with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care. Opportunity Overview
  • Work schedule: 7 shifts per month (24-hour shifts)
  • Flexible scheduling options available
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Care for OBED patients and unassigned emergency cases (including vaginal deliveries and C-sections)
  • Approximately 1,400 annual OBED visits, with one-third resulting in deliveries
  • Access to subspecialists, including Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM)
  • Home to Iowa's only maternal transport team
  • Adjunct faculty position available for Family Medicine Residency

  • Competitive annual base salary of $400,000

About Our Medical Center

Our facility is a 622-bed Level II Trauma center that has been serving the community since 1893. With an average of 3,000 deliveries each year, we are equipped with a 44-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), an 8-bed OB Emergency Department, 15 labor suites, and 40 postpartum recovery rooms.
