Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in the state
• Previous experience as a school nurse or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to respond promptly and effectively in emergencies
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an educational setting
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students, including administering medications and first aid
• Manage and document health records, immunizations, and care plans
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student well-being
• Develop health education materials and provide resources to students and staff
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and 504 meetings as required
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify health needs or concerns
• Respond to medical emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
