Make a meaningful impact by supporting students on the autism spectrum across a variety of educational settings in beautiful Southern Oregon. This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to use your advanced expertise and specialized training while working within a 35-mile radius of Medford, spanning communities from Ashland to Eagle Point and Grants Pass.

Your background in special education, speech-language pathology, school psychology (with TSPC licensure) or behavior analysis will be invaluable as you guide and empower K-12 students and their educational teams. Experience the rewarding nature of travel assignments while providing hands-on support onsite.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Special Education, SLP, School Psychology, or certification as a BCBA (with focused autism expertise).
  • Active Oregon TSPC license (or Board Certification for SLPs/BCBAs).
  • Minimum three years of experience working with students on the autism spectrum, spanning various age groups and functioning levels.
  • Substantial experience conducting autism assessments, supporting both high-functioning students and those in self-contained settings.
  • Familiarity with public education and special education frameworks.
  • Willingness to work onsite at multiple locations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an autism consultant/specialist to K-12 students and educational teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive autism evaluations and interpret assessment data.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized supports.
  • Offer expert guidance on evidence-based interventions and best practices for diverse student needs.
  • Deliver staff training and ongoing consultation to promote inclusive educational environments.
