ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Somerville, TN. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support Pre-K students in a self-contained classroom while working alongside a collaborative educational team focused on student growth, independence, and success.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time

  • 2026–2027 School Year

Qualifications:

  • Valid Tennessee Special Education Teaching License required

  • 459 Endorsement required

  • CDC Certification required

  • Previous school-based special education experience preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

  • Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Tennessee state standards

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff

  • Implement evidence-based academic, behavioral, and functional interventions

  • Support students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional development

  • Collect and maintain accurate student progress data and documentation

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

  • Create a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
