Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Pharmacist in Charge opportunity is available for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Irving, Texas. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist holding a Texas and Alabama license who can commit to approximately 20 hours per week. Candidates will support a high-volume pharmacy processing 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily, utilizing DRx software.

Schedule:

• 1st shift
• Flexible day or mid-shift hours based on candidate availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Respond to inbound calls from patients and physician offices regarding medication-related inquiries
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist licenses for Texas and Alabama (required)
• Additional licenses in Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Oklahoma are advantageous
• Preferred but not required: licenses from Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky, or Nebraska
• Experience working in high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy environments
• Proficiency with DRx pharmacy software or similar systems
• Strong communication skills for handling patient and provider interactions
