School Registered Nurse (RN) in Maryland Heights, MO

The district is especially interested in nurses open to working in a dual RN/Paraprofessional capacity full-time. If your preference is to focus solely on nursing responsibilities, a part-time schedule is also available to fit your needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing (Missouri)
• Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric patients strongly preferred
• Ability to deliver sensitive and attentive care to medically fragile children
• Willingness to adapt between RN and paraprofessional duties if full-time
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 nursing care including health monitoring, routine procedures, and medication administration
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment for a medically fragile elementary student
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support the child’s well-being
• Participate in daily classroom activities and provide additional paraprofessional support if working full-time
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in line with district guidelines
