Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Indiana
• Previous experience in a school nursing setting preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educators
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound clinical judgment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized care to a student throughout the school day, ensuring both routine and emergency health needs are met
• Administer medications and perform any necessary treatments as outlined in the student’s care plan
• Monitor the student’s medical condition and document observations and interventions
• Coordinate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to deliver holistic care
• Educate and support the student, offering guidance on managing their health needs during the school day
• Participate in care planning meetings as required
