Mathematics Special Education Teacher | Glendale, Arizona

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold a valid Standard Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Required Special Education (SPED) Certification/Licensure
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience teaching math in a special education setting
• Familiarity with IEP implementation and differentiation strategies
• Proximity to the area highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Co-teach a designated high school math class alongside a general education teacher
• Develop and adapt math instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Support IEP goals through targeted instruction and collaboration with the special education team
• Participate in regular planning and team meetings to align curriculum and strategies
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress with families as required
• Uphold school and district policies in all classroom activities
