Registered Nurse School Setting - Salinas, CA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current California School Nurse Credential required
• Demonstrated experience in school, pediatric, or community nursing
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with children, families, and school personnel
• Knowledge of children’s common health concerns and chronic condition management
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, school-based setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily health care services, first aid, and emergency response within assigned PreK and school district sites
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization record reviews
• Support students with medications, treatments, and chronic health conditions in the school setting
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding student health concerns and accommodations
• Develop and implement individualized health plans
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation according to state and district policies
• Participate in student care planning and promote health education for students and staff
