School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Clarksville, Indiana

We are seeking a dedicated School Registered Nurse to provide 1:1 support to a student, working just 20 minutes north of Louisville, IN. Your caring presence and nursing skills will make a meaningful difference in a school setting, ensuring that a student receives quality healthcare and advocacy throughout the school day.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Indiana (or compact state with eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, students, and families
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care and support to a designated student for the entirety of the school day
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to the healthcare plan
• Monitor and document student health status, interventions, and outcomes
• Respond quickly to health emergencies and adapt care as needed
• Liaise with teachers, school administration, and parents to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to the student’s educational environment
• Maintain detailed and accurate health records in compliance with school and state regulations
