School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Hollister, California

What You’ll Bring:

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Valid credential as a School Nurse in California
• Previous experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and staff from various backgrounds
• Flexibility to travel between assigned sites throughout the week

Your Impact:

• Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to students, including administering medications and medical procedures as needed
• Perform health assessments, screenings, and develop care plans for students with specific needs
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide first aid on campus
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to ensure a safe, healthy learning environment
• Educate students and staff on wellness, hygiene, and prevention strategies
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and district policies
• Serve as a resource to families and promote healthy habits both in and out of school
