Support students’ educational journeys in an impactful contract role designed for experienced paraprofessionals with a strong behavioral background. This assignment, based near Aurora, CO, runs from August 11th through May 21st, 2027, and is ideal for individuals comfortable working in dynamic environments and with significant or severe caseloads. Assignments begin within the Apollo Program and may require flexibility, as you could be reassigned to various school sites or age groups based on needs.

To be considered for this opportunity, please ensure you include two completed professional RefAssured references with your application, as they are required for submission and will be verified. Candidates must have reliable personal transportation and must be able to report to elementary sites by 7:40am or middle/high sites by 8:00am each day. Please note that fingerprinting will be required immediately after offer acceptance—any criminal charges will result in disqualification.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional, preferably with a strong behavioral support background in school settings
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant and/or severe caseloads
  • Flexibility to work across different school sites and age groups as needed
  • Reliable personal transportation (rideshare services are not considered reliable)
  • Ability to assist students with toileting and diapering tasks as necessary
  • Punctuality and professional reliability
  • Submission of two completed professional RefAssured references

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support students’ academic and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators and school staff
  • Provide hands-on assistance as assigned, including personal care when required
  • Adapt quickly to shifting classroom or site assignments
