Qualifications and Credentials:

• Valid registered nurse (RN) license
• Public Health Nurse license
• School Nurse License issued by the Board of Teaching
• Current CPR and BLS certifications
• Experience or passion for working with school-age children and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Must be available for in-person, onsite services across various school locations—remote or virtual options are not permitted

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide school-based nursing care and health assessments to students across five schools
• Foster a safe, healthy environment and respond to urgent medical needs
• Oversee immunization and communicable disease protocols
• Develop individualized healthcare plans and educate staff on student health conditions
• Serve as a resource for health education, disease prevention, and wellness initiatives
