Embark on a rewarding journey supporting students in an urban K-12 educational setting as a dedicated paraprofessional working onsite. This full-time contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and continues through June 12, 2026, offering the chance to positively impact students’ learning and development.

Your day-to-day contributions will involve direct student assistance, including 1:1 support, facilitating educational activities, and ensuring students’ safety and engagement—particularly those with behavioral challenges or special needs. Flexibility and compassion are essential as you handle changing needs, assist with toileting/diapering, and support elopement issues. You’ll collaborate with a caring, multidisciplinary team while focusing on student success and well-being.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school-based environment
• Comfort and proficiency supporting SPED and behaviorally challenged students
• Ability and willingness to work with a diverse, K-12 caseload
• High school diploma required
• Valid or obtainable CPR certification (resources to obtain provided)
• Capacity to acquire all Pennsylvania clearances as mandated
• Reliable transportation for daily onsite attendance is a must
• Strong references demonstrating professional dedication
• Willingness to provide district disclosure upfront as part of the onboarding process

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support and classroom assistance for students
• Implement behavioral management and monitor for elopement issues
• Adapt to the varying academic and personal care needs of each student
• Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of student plans
