Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• Prior experience in school or pediatric nursing is preferred.
• Ability to respond confidently to health emergencies and to conduct routine health screenings.
• Strong communication skills; able to provide clear health education to students, staff, and parents.
• Familiar with state guidelines and protocols for school health programs.
• Organizational skills with a compassionate, student-centered philosophy.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, evaluate, and manage student health needs during the school day.
• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid following physician orders and district policies.
• Act as a liaison between families, school personnel, and healthcare providers.
• Develop and implement individual health plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Promote health education and wellness throughout the school community.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with confidentiality requirements.
