School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Chapin, South Carolina

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, valid Registered Nurse licensure in South Carolina
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Required experience in pediatrics
• Proven work with tracheostomies (Trachs)
• Experience managing G-tubes, including suctioning and tube feeding
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
• Comfortable working independently and within a cohesive multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide focused care for two elementary-aged students within the same classroom
• Perform all necessary trach management duties
• Handle G-tube feeding and suctioning as needed
• Collaborate daily with two supportive teacher aides, emphasizing a team approach
• Monitor, document, and communicate student health progress to stakeholders
• Support the broader educational team in fostering optimal student outcomes
